ICE Totally Gaming is one of the biggest gaming events on the calendar. Every year, ICE attracts a large number of industry professionals, legal experts, and other interested parties. The 2017 addition was expected to break all the records, especially with this year’s event area expanding some 5% compared to 2016.

Those expectations came to fruition with the expo kicking off in London’s ExCel featuring a truly impressive crowd of exhibitors, speakers, affiliates, and visitors. With large companies rubbing shoulders with up and coming businesses, exciting new technologies, and heaps of interesting ideas, ICE 2017 has it all.

Big Announcements & Important Panels

There’s been so much happening at this year’s ICE that it’s hard to cover it all. Hence, we’ll try to mention some of the most important highlights of the first two days.

  • Playtech announced the milestone partnership with Warner Bros

  • Yggdrasil presented their new Jungle Book slot

  • An important panel on the blockchain and crypto-currencies was held

  • Brazil soccer star Roberto Carlos made an appearance at planetwin365’s booth

  • Eddie Hall, Britain’s strongest man, was there at the BettingJobs stand

  • CEO of Pinnacle Paris Smith made a rare appearance

Of course, this is just a few hand-picked highlights from very eventful first two days of the ICE 2017. With so many representatives of big online casinos, software developers, and others, it is hard to say who really stands out. However, there is one thing that everyone seems to agree on, and that’s the fact organizers have outdone themselves for this year’s expo.

ICE 2017 Doesn’t Fail to Impress

Guests, exhibitors, and note speakers alike were all impressed by what they encountered at London’s ExCel. Everything was particularly impressive for the first timers like Chris Mobayeni of Bounce Exchange. The Senior Director of Conversion Strategy for the company came to his very first ICE Totally Gaming, and he wasn’t disappointed by what he encountered.

Mobayeni described the whole ICE experience as surreal and similar to being in a huge, modern casino. He came to the expo to present the new customer retention and acquisition platform, making many new business contacts along the way. For Mobayeni, like for so many others, ICE represents a great networking opportunity.

Equally impressed with the setup Yggdrasil’s CEO Fredrik Elmqvist. In an interview for ICE TV, Elmqvist talked about competition and how there are more and more companies looking for their place in the industry. This is a topic the CEO of Yggdrasil understands all too well, seeing how his company has managed to make a name for itself in a very short period.

Great Start of the Year for the Industry

The ICE Totally Gaming 2017 is a great way to kick things off for the upcoming year. The expo provides excellent insights into plans of the big players, giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect. At the same time, it is the place where crucial partnerships are forged, opening new doors for the development of even more awesome products in the future.
